Although this is a commercial web site for an art magazine,

The Virtual Museum of Traditional Japanese Arts is produced
for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Kodansha International
Ltd. It has beautiful images but it does take time to load,
however, the wait is well worth it. A definite visit for Japanese
art lovers.
